Today was my favorite day of the year, 10/10.
Ten has always been my favorite number, and this day was always my favorite day of the year.
When I was very little I used to say I would get married on this day.
One day.
Last year’s wasn’t the best, which was super sad. But this year was great! Even though my heart has been very hurt lately, today was great! I was in such a great mood, even when cruddy/annoying things happened.
Suzanne, my best friend, wished me a happy 10/10 today and I love that she’s such a good best friend that she knows my favorite days. I miss her.
When we did warm fuzzies at work, Jenny and I got each other. And we were both excited about it because we’re work best friends. We also were both born on the 10th of our month! Which I didn’t know until today.
When I had to get in my van for my work drive it started, then stopped working completely. Then wouldn’t start at all. Then a bit later I tried again and it was fine!
I went to my first pick up, and nobody was there at all. I called back to work to see if they got word of anything - a teacher walked out as I was calling and told me there was a half day - and so did the girls on the other line. No kids to pick up. A wasted trip, but it was nice to get to my second stop early!
There was a bee in the van, again. Sixth bee to be in a vehicle with me in the past few weeks. But it was laying down so I smashed it with my clip board!
So many things were going so great!
I even saw the Frogger Lady - doing what she does best! Also, she had a man with her! Glad for her.
Owen & Natalie were over today, too, which was fun. They’re cute and they say the silliest things. Natalie is really good about letting me do her hair, too, which is a big deal because she doesn’t let everyone do it.
My moon was also great tonight! As usual.
But, once night really hit I started thinking about the same thing I’ve been thinking about lately and I got sad. I hate feeling this hurt and I hate that I feel this way because of a “close” friend. I also hate that I just put quotes around close because that’s how hurt I am.
WHATEVER. GOTTA WATCH A MOVIE I LOVE TO GO TO BED ON A POSITIVE NOTE.
